Georgia Tee in Midweight Linen

Our favorite, essential tee. The Georgia is one of the first styles I designed, and the pattern was drafted with adaptive fit in mind. The shoulder seam and sleeve without an armscye look intentional on all shoulder breadths, the substantial cuff wings out and draws clean lines on any arm, and the cropped length follows the rule of thirds, creating proportions that work on almost everybody.
I was thinking about effortless caftans from the '60s and '70s crossed with the neat, crisp blouses from the '40s when women started wearing separates to work. The architectural drama and movement of a draped oversized top paired with the structure and simplicity of a cropped blouse: the Georgia Tee.
Its boxy silhouette has a modern, utilitarian feeling while remaining soft and fluid. The simple, slightly cropped, easy cut can be paired with just about anything. Plus, it looks excellent half-tucked.

As a Harper fan, I was a bit concerned about the short length of the Georgia, and also the famous shape of its cuffs. I think I like an overall A-line silhouette and maybe I need to get used to the shape. I'm an XXL band quite short.
For the moment I'm having fun wearing it over a Harper Apron -which I constantly wear in Flax or Black-, and this piece offers me more variety.
I remember ordering it to give it a try with a pair of new black Florence Pants I got this year too, but I'm not sure I'll be brave enough to wear theTee on its own, showing my belly!

I’m a fan of Elizabeth Suzann pants (Florence and Andy styles) but it took me a while to order the Georgia Tee and it doesn’t disappoint. The fabric is so luxurious and and the garment is so beautifully made. The architectural wing sleeves add a little something unique to the simple tee. I wish it will be available in navy soon.
I just purchased the flax and this is my third Georgia tee. I also have it in white and black and love those! The flax is a great neutral that goes with everything. And the new back seam is a great improvement - it adds an elevated detail, and saves fabric in production.
I got my first two secondhand in flax midweight linen and ivory lightweight linen. Then I got a third one, also secondhand, in silk charmeuse from the Goodwin collab. My fourth one was the olive midweight linen version from a trade. And my most recent Georgia tee is in terra and I love wearing it with my terra andy palazzos for an all terra look. The cuffs are what makes this shirt my go-to. I love where it hits my arm and the narrower neckline in the current generation hides the thickest of bra straps. I love how boxy it is and the cropped length makes it perfect for all my high-waisted pants. This top is a total workhorse in my wardrobe.
Bought this in Navy. If I had my way, I would seriously wear nothing but the linen Georgia Tee in the summers. The cut is very flattering, the material delightfully thick without losing the natural cooling properties of linen. With a quick steam and paired with slacks, I am able to dress it up enough to wear to my smart casual office job. On the weekends, it's the perfect casual top for making you feel comfy but just a bit more put together than a regular tee would. The length is perfect for my short torso, not too long and not too cropped, and I love the slight asymmetry between the back and front. Will definitely be purchasing the Georgie tee again in the future!
This top is a true workhorse. I wear it multiple times a week with jeans, skirts, or over dresses. The linen only gets more beautiful after washing and wearing. I have two colors in this top and can’t wait to add more.
I am not a fashion person. But I want to look good (yay! Ego!) So when I started a new job I decided I wanted a professional, sustainably made, comfortable uniform. I bought one of these for every day and paired them with black everlane pants. It’s simple. And saves me so much time in the morning.
The linen gauze is the perfect weight for summer. And in the winter I’m going to wear a Cotten black tee Under it.

Bought my first item from Elizabeth Suzann, the Georgia tee in mid weight flax linen. Purchased the 1X. I am busty. I normally wear a XL or XXL. I just love the construction and care in design. I can’t wait to wear this with pants, skirts and shorts this Spring/Summer. I would purchase again. Highly recommend!!

This is my fifth or sixth Georgia tea. It's such a great cut, but this might be my favourite, this fabric is so soft and luxurious feeling, and the free colour is perfect
Really lovely color, item fits well and linen is lightweight and soft. The wrinkle factor is significant but that’s to be expected with any lightweight linen.
This is the perfect linen tee! Intensely black and a little oversized.
I bought this because I love love love all my georgia tees from before the pandemic. However, the new higher neckline on this (and on my beloved harper tunics) post pandemic is terrible. It is constricting and makes this shirt look frumpy, rather than cool. I keep trying to buy new items post pandemic and being disappointed both in the changes to the design (like the pockets on the florence pant that add lots of bulk and weight) and in the sewing craftmanship.

Everything I wanted in a tee: the linen is substantial and doesn't wrinkle easily, the color is great, the silhouette is perfect (not too cropped), and the winged sleeve detail is the cherry on top of the perfection sundae. I definitely want this in more colors!
